Fison Flash Point Tester heats the sample with temperature control from room temperature to 250°C and a resolution of 0.1°C, using a platinum resistor (PT100) temperature sensor. As flash point testing equipment, it uses flash fire detection by K thermocouple to register the flash at the test flame. It determines the closed flash point of each sample from the sample temperature recorded at the moment of flash.
