Fison Spin Tissue Processor FM-STP-A101 uses a 12-station carousel with 9 glass reagent containers of 1.2 L and 3 wax containers of 1 L. Wax temperature is adjustable from 60 °C to 99 °C, and the processing time can be programmed separately for each station. The tissue basket of this automated tissue processing machine moves with vertical reciprocation at 3 times per minute for fluid exchange around the cassettes. Cassettes are dehydrated in the reagent stations, then infiltrated with molten paraffin in the wax stations.
